Subject: automatic car window
I would like to tell you a story, and perhaps you could pass it
along. It might save a dog's life. My neighbor decided to take her
dog out for a car ride. The dog had his head out the window and at
the same time he stepped on the window button. The window raised up
and trapped him. My neighbor was unable to reverse the window - it
got jammed. In her panic she opened the passenger door which left
the dog hanging in air and gasping for breath. I heard her screams
and the dog's cry and was able to run over and life his body up to
give him a chance to breathe. My husband also came over and
continued to work with the button until it released the dog.
Everyone made it out okay, but it sure was a scare. When I passed
the story on to others, I found out that many people had similar
experiences. I hope you can make others aware so that they can be
sure to safeguard against this. I know that the newer power windows
have a safety feature, but the older cars don't. Have a great
holiday.
