ShelterCare Offers Free Health Insurance For Any Dog Or Cat Adopted From Any Petfinder Shelter Or Rescue Member

ShelterCare is a new program funded by Petfinder.Com. One
month of FREE health insurance is available to any dog or cat
adopted from a shelter or rescue/placement group that is a Petfinder
member.

Coverage is provided for kennel cough, intestinal parasites, urinary tract infection, upper respiratory tract infection, ear infection, sarcoptic and demodectic mange, parvovirus, foreign body
ingestion removal, motor vehicle accident, fracture, or poison ingestion.

No coverage for pre-existing conditions. Amount per incident is 0, with deductible. "It's easy and there are no strings attached."

Coverage begins 1 minute past the 2nd midnight (EST) after activation, and continues for 30 days. Coverage can be extended or upgraded if desired. Petfinder recommends activation at the time of adoption.
