Web site has disturbing information about the fur industry

Hi SHARE Folks -

I've just visited a web site that is horribly disturbing. It concerns the fur industry, and includes hideous descriptions and photos of all kinds of animals killed for their skins. Dogs and cats are used, in addition to mink, raccoons, foxes, seals and so many more.

Although dog and cat fur is banned in the United States, it is still smuggled in, and often gets in with false designations. One of the most disgusting uses for dog skin is in rawhide chew toys.

Also, seals pups are still being clubbed for their white fur. This practice was exposed about 30 years ago and protests were partly
successful in slowing it down. But it's back in full force with thousands of baby seals being slaughtered.

If you can deal with graphic photos and descriptions, please take the
time to visit the web site at
