I have just started a new business to protect our pets - much as our
children are protected in case they are lost or kidnapped.
Having been in rescue for many years, it has always been my desire to
create a product that would benefit the animal world in a meaningful
way. The one thing I have discovered throughout the years is that
when I have been called upon to help find a lost pet, the one thing
the caregivers had in common was that not one of them thought it
would ever happen to them. They were all TOO GOOD at what they did.
TOO conscientious; TOO responsible. It just couldn't happen to them.
And when it did, none were prepared.
Because we all fear the thought of our children being lost or
kidnapped, police departments and school systems came up with
Identification Packets for parents. All the important information
that would be necessary should the unthinkable happen to their loved
one, being accessible in one handy packet. Detailed specifics -
height, weight and other pertinent facts - all vital for an
effective search - all recorded in the packet so it could be easily
disseminated in case of emergency. In the case of our furred family
