Low-cost Spay/Neuter Options for Rabbits!

New Jersey House Rabbit Society (NJHRS) is pleased to announce that we will be providing lower cost spays and neuters for rabbits in NJ shelters and rescues.

As most of you may know, the cost for rabbit spay/neuter is extremely high and no group offers discounted fees on these necessary surgeries. Recognizing the need, NJHRS has taken the lead in bringing this option to NJ!

The program will operate on a certificate basis (payable in advance to NJHRS) with the cost for a spay being $85 and a neuter, $55. At this time all surgeries will take place at Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown on Saturday's and Sunday's.

This is the first phase of our project which we hope to expand to other locations for shelters and rescues and eventually to private veterinarians for rabbits from the general public.
