Seasonal Health Issues: My Dog Is Cool web site

Through this website, you'll learn about what you can do to protect dogs from the dangers of hot cars. You can find out how quickly cars heat up in warm weather, whether it's too hot to take your dog along today, and how to get the word out that it's just not cool to leave a dog in a hot car, even for "just a minute."

You can also help with our national campaign, "My Dog is Cool ... is Yours?" which will:

Get the word out to individuals and communities about the dangers of hot cars through our life-saving Don't Leave Me in Here — It's Hot! Flyers, posters, and other educational materials.

Educate the media and the general public, as well as police, emergency workers, and city officials, about steps to take to prevent dogs from dying in hot cars.

Lobby automobile manufacturers to include information about this issue in car and truck owners' manuals. We'll show them that their customers want them to take a stand for animal safety!
