Trapping 1 cat out of a group of cats

Useful info that I thought was worth passing on.

At a TNR seminar, they showed how you could set a regular trap
and get the cat you wanted out of a group of cats by filling a
water bottle (medium/large size). Tie long twine string to capped
water bottle, set the trap with food, put filled bottle as a prop to
keep cage door open and stand distance away with end of twine.
When wrong cat goes in, you can scare them away or let them
enter and leave. When the right cat goes in you pull string so water
bottle moves away and trap door closes.

They said to practice a few times first. This technique is supposed
to be great to use when you have stubborn cat to trap and lots of
others to contend with.

Animals suffer as much as we do. Until we extend our circle of
compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace.
